Applicants must have successfully graduated from an accredited university. An earned master's degree is required.
The fully online Virginia University of Lynchburg (VUL) Doctor of Healthcare Administration degree is designed for professionals interested in leadership roles in education and/or clinical practice. The module-based curriculum is self-paced for students to enter into the program at any one of three starting points in the academic calendar.
This program is to prepare health professionals to be leaders in healthcare by acquiring skills as educators, administrators, members of research teams and advocates for best practice. Through our program, students will be given the opportunity to critically evaluate and learn from literature, extending their knowledge to better serve their customers. They will also gain the business acumen to move into positions of leadership within their institutions or clinics.
