The second year of the 5 Million Dollar Restoration Campaign ends on November 30, 2011. You don’t want to miss out on being one of the “special responders” to this deserving capital campaign. Or you may mail your check, made out to VUL Restoration Campaign, dated on or before November 30, 2011 to Virginia University of Lynchburg, 2058 Garfield Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
For a contribution of $50 or more, you will receive a copy of VUL President Ralph Reavis’ book, One Path to Freedom, a history of VUL. For a gift of $25 or more, you will receive a print of Humbles Hall, one of VUL’s historic buildings.

]]>According to the agreement, “VUL students desiring to earn a Bachelor Degree at LU, in a field of study not offered by VUL, will be encouraged to continue their academic studies toward the goal of attaining a Baccalaureate, Master or other advanced degree at LU.” President Reavis called the agreement a “historic gesture of support and cooperation.”
VUL currently offers bachelor degrees in sociology, religious studies, organizational management and business administration; master degrees in organizational management and divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree.

Virginia University of Lynchburg now offers Online Degree Programs.
The mission of the Distance Learning Program is to give students who cannot attend classes at one of VUL’s teaching locations or on the main campus in Lynchburg the opportunity to advance their education and enrich their lives through scholarly pursuits.
VUL embraces lifelong learning in its traditional and non-traditional programs. Distance learning students with military experience may receive credit for prior training and experience. Students also may be eligible for credits based on professional certifications, technical training, national examinations, and documentation for other college-level learning.
