TUITION AND FEES VUL has developed its on-line program in a highly competitive cost comparison that is much less than similar adult degree programs. Being entirely on-line eliminates the costs and time for travel, and allows students to schedule their work most convenient to their job and family obligations. This is a significant savings, as a study for the Virginia State Legislature last year found that textbook costs averaged over $400 per semester at public universities in the state.
Students will take two (2) courses each 8-week term (two terms per 16 week semester), for an inclusive total of $1,800. Tuition and fees may be paid on line by credit card , mail in payment, or handled with other arrangements made with the Director of Financial Aid: Charlene Scruggs, (cscruggs@vul.edu), (434) 528-5276, x. 105. Arrangements for tuition and fees must be made prior to the start of each 8-week sub-term. All students must complete the FAFSA (see below) and initiate contact with the Director of Financial Aid at least 30 days before the start of the 8-week sub-term. FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid Please complete your FAFSA ("Free Application for Federal Student Aid") as soon as possible via the Internet at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
